HAmapton Roads Lacrosse_Coastal Crush Coach, caddie

Catherine "Caddie" Hardy:

Caddie has been involved with sports, but specifically with lacrosse, for the last 20 years.  She began her playing career at New England College where she was a three-sport athlete, playing soccer, basketball and lacrosse for four years.

Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach at her Alma Mater, started postgraduate classes and worked in college admissions.  After 2 seasons at NEC she moved to upstate NY where she was a head college lacrosse coach for 4 years and then on to Massachusetts, coaching for 3 more years with her now husband, Alex.

Caddie took a break from coaching and focused on raising their two kids Emma (13) and Liam (10). Alex, an active duty US Navy Diver brought the family to the area and Caddie started coaching Emma in the former recreational program (HRLAX).  She has volunteered on the Board of HRLAX, which now runs the high school club program for the last 4 years, last year taking on the role of Boys HS Operations and Chairman of the Board while continuing to coach. She is also on the board of US Lacrosse Tidewater.

Caddie has always been passionate about lacrosse. She values her athletes and their families and works very hard to ensure the experience they receive when playing in her program benefits them on and off the field. Her experience in both college admissions and college coaching give her insight to what can be a daunting process.

Alex and Caddie Hardy, their two children Emma and Liam and Caddie’s dad John are all active members of the lacrosse community on both the recreational and travel levels. They are dedicated to building community and a true culture of lacrosse in the Tidewater area.
